Introducing handsome podenco Solo, who is with Bev Farmer. He’s desperate for a family and a loving home to call his own for the rest of his life. Can you find a place for him? Bev Farmer describes his character.
‘This is Solo he has been at Pepis Refuge since he first wandered into their gates as a puppy back in 2008.
For some reason no one has shown any interest in him, it’s such a shame that he has not had a family of his own for 5 years.
To help out Solo has come to us and he is a super Podenco very friendly loves to play with the other dogs very quick to learn and wants to please. He is a really affectionate dog and not a loner and at night time he sits on Warre’sn lap while Warren’s drinking a beer or two.
I think he will be brilliant at agility and we will start with some training with him. He has his passport up to date vaccinations, blood tested and negative and is castrated. Thank you to Beryl who sponsored Solo and organised for him to travel to us.

I think Podencos are beautiful dogs. Just looking at the third picture of Solo and he has the most beautiful face and delicate bone structure. They have expressive intelligent eyes too, just a lovely breed of dog. I really hope that someone out there spots him and offers him a forever home, he deserves it.
