Podenca Resu – rescued by Pro-Galgo, safe in their hands

This is the story of Resu, a podenca rescued by Pro-Galgo. Here’s what Mo Swatek says.

‘Resu was found heavily pregnant, starving with a badly broken leg. She was totaly bloated because of the accident, the puppies had died in her womb and she was already suffering the consequences of septicemia. During the emergency caesarian, her heart stopped 3 times but the vets managed to bring her back to life. She was called RESU from resurrection. WHAT A FIGHTER OUR PODENCO GIRL.

She then had 3 more operations to correct her badly injured hind leg, and in the photos below you can see her running in the fields as a happy healthy podenca. She also has leishmania. She is a professional food thief, can open fridges and drawers and is really into garbage bag recycling!

She is not up for adoption, she adopted Mo as her forever Mom.
