This case puts the legal lack of protection that hunting dogs suffer back on the table. More – 22 hunting dogs are removed from a neighbor of Meira who had them caged and squeezed.

The Service of Nature Protection of the Civil Guard (Seprona), with the collaboration of the Prote Animais Morrazo carried out an operation to remove 22 hunting dogs (16 females and 6 males), from a neighbor of Meira, in Moaña, who had them in very bad conditions, in cages or zulos with apartments, some chained, others with mange and squalid.

What they found there was a horror, with a mother with puppies dead in the cold concrete and the moms bleeding from scratching themselves from the amount of milk.
