From Hope For Podencos

Deejay is every bit as striking as he is sweet. A graceful Podenco Ibicenco with movie star looks, he trots around like a show pony and has completely stolen the hearts of everyone who’s met him.  Rescued after being found stray, Deejay has shown us what a lovely, balanced young lad he is. He can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once he knows you, his affectionate nature shines through and he’ll make a wonderfully loyal companion.  He’s fantastic with other dogs and absolutely loves to play.

We’d ideally like him to have another friendly dog to share his home with, although for a patient adopter, we do think he could flourish as an only dog in time.  A quieter household would suit him best, but don’t let that fool you. He’s still a young boy who loves being active and would thrive with a family who enjoy getting out and about.

Deejay is neutered, vaccinated, passported and available for adoption. He has snap tested negative for Mediterranean diseases and is currently undergoing his full re-test.

Please don’t let him become another beautiful dog that everyone scrolls past. He deserves his happy ending just as much.
