Last Hope Dog Rescue, Murcia, now has some beautiful podencos needing forever homes. Irene Allan tells the story.
‘Last year we rescued four puppies from Motril that were feral in the campo. The mother of these puppies has been difficult to catch and has been running with another podenco resulting in more puppies unfortunately. We have now collected the puppies as they were in danger and have delivered a dog trap to catch the mum. If we are successful, we will bring her to the finca to sterilise her and provide a sanctuary, so she may gain trust with us and eventually get Bonita her forever home. seen this these rescues are unbelievable in what they do I just wish more people would join in and help with donations adoptions ect they have it so bad and I live in hope that people in power will take notice of these rescues and bring change for the best once and for all for the sake of these poor souls
