The Spanish hounds are incredible survivors. Here’s a tale of one, who now sadly needs help, a Podenco Ibicenco named Rosi.

‘Rosi, an abandoned dog but with luck, a girl daily has been carrying the water and food, feeding Rosi other 4 dogs.

Every day for a year, when she heard the noise of the vehicle of the girl, Rosi came to meet, making leaps of joy, but everything changed two days ago, Rosi was not in place, Rosi didn’t make an appearance, the girl was expected the worst and so it has been.

This particular day when she was pouring water, Rosi came crawling, with leg wounds, one of them full of flies, eyes of pain, asking for help.

At 12:30 we received a call from a person desperate just couldn’t articulate words, she asked for us help, bitch wounded on the rear legs, possibly hit, hidden in a thicket in the sun, we went to the rescue.

The image we have is of a terrified dog, a dog that looked at us, thanking us, dirty, full of ticks, some walked down his body, to remove it from where it was and to see her legs, we thought the worst, even to think we had to amputate one of them.

We took her quickly to the clinic veterinary medicine where shewas cleaned thoroughly, to sedate her and quickly entered in the operating room. She has had skin grafts, repairing tissues, also blood analysis, had a fever.
