Cordoba, Spain – rehala hounds – Prodeanse help the podencos

This is Cordoba, podencos and other hunting dogs in a rehala – dogs kept as a pack and taken out to hunt in a pack, sometimes hired by hunters. Sadly some of the dogs were already dead but others have been saved.

Prodeanse in Seville have taken three podenco pups, here’s what they say.

‘I have to show you this video because it hurts the soul see it and to show you what kind of murderer is loose out there.

We have 3 young podencos, two female and a male. They urgently need help as they are very underweight, full of parasites and needing medical treatment.

Hopefully we can bring them forward and they can enjoy a new life in a real home that, until now they have not known what it is.

Please help us to spread this case and to pay vet fees and food for the podencos. Paypal info@prodeanse.es and you can also email any offers of foster homes and other enquiries as there are English speakers in the asso.

Prodeanse are another association doing marvellous work under dire conditions in an area full of hunters who have no care for their hounds. I visited them in 2012.
