Here they are, pix in order of name.

CAMINANTE,(pic above) born 13/03/11 , is very sweet although still a bit timid. He needs a bit more time. He came in with a destroyed elbow. A piece of his ear is missing on the same side as his elbow injury. Although the surgery was successful, he is still a bit insecure to step on it the whole time and runs on 3 legs. He can put weight on it although he has probably walked so long on 3 legs, he got accustomed to it.

NAYA is around 2-3 years old and a dear sweetheart. Very obedient and loving,

JOYA was saved from the pound, she is now 2 years old, very good with people and other dogs, loving and obedient. She walks perfectly by your side , also in town, and behaves perfectly at the vets. She trusts you completely and goes with you. She had a couple of shots that she did not like but when you hold her head she lets you do everything. She is a kind sweetheart and will make a lovely family dog. She needs a minute to come to you but when she comes she surrenders completely to your hands.

VALENTINA, about 7 years old, came into the pound with a bad and very painful injury. She was taken out very fast before being killed. She has not lost her trust in people, is very gentle and loves the company of people and other dogs. The pictures show how the injury was, how it healed. It is now completely healed.

DRAGO, 2-3 years old, found with his penis out and all black (necrotic tissue), he almost did not make it, a couple of hours more and the vet said he would have died. After the operation he is now a happy fellow, not scared, very happy to see people, easy going, good with all dogs and a lovely character.

MIA, 1 year old. She was found in a dumpster more dead than alive. She was a week on a drip with the vets and was later operated on a hernia she had. She is still very scared and very dependent on another dog to show her the way. When she gets to know you, she is a complete sweetheart and very obedient.

ALMA, found tied up near a factory. Apa Mes Que Gossos took her in and she is now a wonderful girl. She is very obedient, kind hearted, good with all other dogs, very tranquil and good with children

GARA, 3 years old, has been with Apa Mes Que Gossos since October 2012. She comes from the Cuenca pound. She was taken out with her puppies. All her puppies have been adopted but she is still there looking for a forever home. She is very sweet and kind.

TONI has come from Cuenca. He was very scared of people and did not trust anyone. Now he comes and loves people. But he has a very big problem with collars and/or leash. There is a certain spot on his back that you cannot touch. When Mari tried to put a collar on or touch his back he lifted his upperlip, but in the meantime he licks her hand. Then he gets scared and goes under the table.

SABANA, born 15/10/2011, like most podencos, active, sweet and loving
