Basic costs for all dogs to leave the perrera = 62 euro = release fee.
transport is 30 euro when the dog has to travel ouside Valencia region,for some foster homes and for the residence – a total of 92 euros

Stay in the residence is 30 euro per week per dog. which is not cheap, trying to get the price down, but the pension we deal with in Valencia is full.
this residence I know and trust completely: two of my dogs were there and taken very good care of.

An extra note on the pregnant podenca – Anke says she has not yet been killed – contrary to the first report I received – and she is hoping to have enough donations to save her to a foster home.

In reply to Judy Greenfield, who asked the question on another post of costs involved in saving a dog, I’m sure people would be willing to give a small amount of money towards saving a particular dog – if you wanted to organise it. I post the appeals in the hope that enough people will donate. Anke has had instances where a group of friends have all donated together to save and sponsor a dog till it can be taken on by an association for rehoming.
