Oh I wish I could help!! I would take Nika in this minute as a foster dog to help him heal (and I know I would be tempted to offer him a forever home, but worry I couldn’t manage) but I am in the UK. If anyone is coming back to UK and can bring him safely here I would help him (I am serious but I know there are also other hurdles like his rabies jab and passport and the actual journey could be too much now when he needs to rest)… but I think that is a longer shot than someone coming forwards in Spain to offer him help. He looks JUST like Lupi my podenca I adopted 3 months ago from Malaga who I keep meaning to write about as a happy good news story for Podenco Post. Will do in the next few days. I so hope for Nika and someone local to help. But let me know if there is a way he can come to UK…
if there’s a way to get Nika to Toronto, Ontario – we are looking to adopt another rescue. (we recently lost our beloved senior Ibzan/Pharaoh hound, and have one senior Jack Russell at home) we can help with transportation costs to get this poor soul here, or another Podenco in need.
