Interesting article discussing this question. Most of our galgos have lived to 14 years – apart from those who developed cancer, such as Sahara, Polar, Bracken and recently blind Podenco Bo. Little Podenca Bebe at 7 1/2 kg lived to 17 years. So they all had a good innings. Currently we have Podenca Andaluz Rosie at 16 1/2 kg who is 11 and will hopefully see another 4 years of love and comfort in our home.
Nika’s neck is healing well, he leaves the vet hospital tomorrow – Tuesday – but no one has come forward to foster him. Please please, anyone within travelling distance of Valencia, please help!
The volunteer walked him for a little while, but he is still very afraid of everything. He needs a house to recover, cures and give him medicatio. If he has to go to the shelter, it is not the best place to recover If anyone can host please call me 645985775 Maribel Martinez Moya
