Angela, what can I say? She has been with us now a year, she has never complained she has never cried. Rescued from rejection, and yet rejected again. For as much as her galguero threw her out, her precious babies left behind, she was wandering around with chronic mastitis and a broken heart. So what is it with Angela? Her ears don/t stick up enough? Her colour isn’t red enough? She hasn’t enough white? She isn’t small enough, she isn’t tall enough? I have a belief that there is someone for everyone, and sooner or later they are found and fallen in love with. Telling Angela that, wel, her sweet eyes look at mine with a telling of ‘I know, I’m just not wanted’. I tell her that her time will come, that she will receive a family of her own. She has watched so many other dogs come and go, and never complained once. All finding their forevers, and still she waits.
Angela thinks where she lives at the stables is it, that this is what there is for her. But is there more for her? There must be someone, somewhere, out there, that when they look at Angela, they fall for such a sweet dog. She loves children, she loves to walk at your side, she can be cheeky with us and wants to be first on the lead but then I feel its her right after so long waiting her turn. Watching over so many,and comforting them in their need. Angela also has a need, she needs a family.
