  • Pity the Males – adopt a male galgo or podenco – they need forever too

Jerez podenco 26 03 2011 190 This article is taken from the L’Europe des Levriers website, but it applies to all rescue associations and refuges – pity the male dogs, who get overlooked in preference to femals! And even worse, pity the black dogs who get overlooked in prefencence to other colours. And yet, if you have seen a black galgo – admire the fantastic beauty of the shine on their coat, especially teamed up with a stunning jewelled collar.

Take a moment to think about this, if you might consider adopting a galgo or podenco.
