Podenco Pancho with SOS Podenco Rescue – hoping for a forever home

Read all about Pancho on this weblink. He;s been in foster and kennels for 16 months. At 8 years old he really deserves his forever home. We adopted 8 year old podenca Rosie and have never regretted it; she is loyal and loving and still at 12 years old very active on walks.
If you have room in your home and heart for deserving Pancho, please contact SOS Podenco Rescue direct.

Hunting with hounds in Spain finishes 31st January – pray for all the abandoned and discarded podencos

It’s not just on mainland Spain that thousands of podencos will be abandoned, dumped in perreras or left to wander villages in search of food. The Canary Islands are also a hellhole for podencos.
Pray for all these innocent souls who will suffer through no fault of their own because their unfeeling galgueros and podenqueros see them as an unfeeling tool rather than a sentient being.

Jaen, Spain – a hellhole for these podencos

Horrible what they’ve lived through, tied with short chains, all full of poop, a horrible smell and them, six bitches and a puppy, with ticks and fleas. Seprona has acted and we with little space and little means, we could not say NO and we have taken over. Two of them have a chip in the name of the person who had them and of course, he has handed them over, the others are without a chip.
Update 04-01 Three protectors take over all of them. We are so grateful that our message of help has been heard.. THANK YOU!! and to all of you who spread them.
