Greyhound Friends Netherlands – vote for them before 25th December 2017
I have received the following appeal from Greyhound Friends Netherlands. Please vote for them to help Scooby.
‘In our country is a contest going on called Serieus Request, the organization with the most votes wins €3500.
Greyhoundsfriends is participating this contest for Scooby. We want to win this amount of money for Scooby because they need new fences around the shelter and the quarantine kennels need urgent renovation.
We received many votes and our project is in the top 10 now.People can vote only once with their email address, till 25th December.
I want to ask if you can help us realize this project for Scooby, the largest animal rescue shelter in Spain. They work so hard to rescue every animal they can, educating people, fighting against animal abuse, they deserve to win.

This is Podenco Canario Ricardo, rescued from a Gran Canaria perrera where he had been dumped ared 12 years and in terrible condition. He will soon gain weight and condition living in the Spanish sunshine with Bev and Warren of Podenco Friends.

Save the SPA shelters in France
Can everyone please sign and share the below petition. The French government is about to approve legislation which will put a stop to subsidised employment contracts at, for example, SPAs. Without these contracts most SPAs will not have enough members of staff to keep going and the animals in their care will suffer. It is already so difficult for them with record numbers of abandoned animals!!!

Podenca Milagro – is there a home for her in Belgium or France?
Milagro is a female podenca, aged 13 years who several years ago was rescued from a perrera. SOS Podenca Rescue Belgium & France are looking for an adoption or long term foster. She is negative for Mediterranean diseases.Unfortunately Milagro is not ok other animals, or children (-12 years), so the ideal home for rhis granny would be a couple of retired people with a big garden and a place to isolate her when children are visiting
Let’s not let her finish her life alone in a kennel. A fairy godmother has volunteered to pay for her trip to the home where she can spend the rest of her life.
Is there anyone who will love her and allow her to spend the rest of her life in dignity and safety? All veterinary charges are supported by the association.

Cadiz – podenca urgently needs rescue
Heartbreaking…this poor little podenca, chained up outside…no longer wanted by her owner. 11 years old, her future looks bleak. Surely she deserves rescue to see out her remaining years…she could live another 5…in comfort and knowing love and a warm bed.
