This is Tico, one of the gorgeous podencos with Axarquaia Animal Rescue – he’s been waiting too long for a forever home. Tico was rescued after being thrown or dropped over a fence into someone’s garden. He was only half his current weight – literally just skin and bones – and clung to the leg of the person who found him. He was scared and very hungry. He’s now a healthy, happy dog with a beautiful coat and almond shaped eyes. His foster home reports he is super sweet natured. He loves having his belly rubbed and enjoys his toys, especially the kong. He likes cuddles and he loves to sleep in every morning.
