URGENT help needed for a little podenca
From Moreno Rut.
@Patitas por el Mundo is a tiny association of only two people, Angeles and Virginia in Huelva. They are literally drowning in abandoned animals and it turns out that they rescued this little girl and she is epileptic and already all her possible adoptions have fallen and have no way to pay for her treatment or home. So she is quiet and they do not even have funds to pay for the residences and the others. This situation is very serious
It’s a complete love of a dog, only 5 kilos and is looking for responsible adoption because she has epilepsy and these two women are helping her after rescuing her but her tests and feeding are very expensive and they have run out of money. In fact, they’ve had to ask for a loan to pay debts because there’s no donations to feed the cat colonies, nor the dogs on the street or pay the vet bills and still, they’re still drowning helping animals.

Podencos – foster homes needed for rescued hounds
Appeal from PINS – Podencos In Need Scotland.‘Fostering! Always a tricky subject. We have many regular Fosterers who do a wonderful job over and over again, and we’re very aware that some of these dogs (or all of them) will take a little bit of their foster parent’s heart away with them when they move to their forever home. Some people find it so upsetting that they don’t feel they can do it again, or they have to take a long break to get over the heartbreak. But we ask you all to try and detach a bit of your brain from the trauma of them leaving and use it to congratulate yourself on a job well done and a life saved.
Fosterers are an absolute essential part of the journey for many dogs, and without you, they may languish in a shelter for years.

URGENT – Podenco’s Owner died, abandoned in the garden
Very very Urgent !!!!!
Her anxious look haunts me!!!!
Looking for Foster or better adopters for Fly, podenco about 4/5 years old. Her owner passed away a week ago and is now alone in the garden. A neighbour comes to feed him and brings him home at night. I stopped by to see him this morning, Fly is scary, but within 10 minutes he came to me.
HE seems to have been neglected by the absence of care and regular absence of his master and spent a lot of time alone, Fly will therefore need reassurance to trust again. Living with dogs looks ok, for cats we don’t know.
This cutie is adorable and deserves to find her furever family.

Finding the right home for a rescue dog
Often the history of a rescue dog is unknown. The dog’s character needs to be assessed by the staff in the kennels or by a fosterer to ensure that the right home is found, both for the dogs but also the right dog for the adoptant. It’s easier said than done, as dogs behave differently in different situations with different people. So here’s an article on the subject, read the full piece on this weblink.
