Fuerteventura is one of the smaller Canary Islands and as I am always saying, it’s extremely hard for podencos there to find homes on mainland Europe becaue of the cost of transport. Even worse for these poor podencos in the perrera, what hope for them? There are 65 dogs in the perrera, it’s full to bursting. The brown & white podenca is only 2 yesrs old, the black puppy 4 months old.
Salvavidas Anidemaicrag is trying to rescue them.
