Hope for Podencos was founded in 2014 by Irene and Steve Allan at their finca. Vet Suzanne came on board and they purchased a separate fiinca. Sadly not long after Suzanne died in a road accident. In 2020 Irene sadly passed away and after another couple of years, Steve returned to the UK.
However, there is still a dedicated team working to help the maltreated podencos in Spain.
