She might be grey faced but Podenca Wendy is only 4 years old. Here’s her story from AA Dog Rescue.

‘Say hi to Eve the Podenco. Eve was found alone & unwanted on Christmas Eve, hence her name. She was extremely thin, not microchipped or claimed!

She is 4 years old (dob 11.02.2020) and a small medium in size weighing around 12-15 kgs. She has a very calm, sweet & gentle nature & is good with other dogs.

She has settled in so well. In fact, the staff call her Queen Bee! She has left her past behind and knows what she wants … she throws her food out of the bowl and only eats the meat and always finds the biggest fluffiest bed! Well why not, she so deserves it.

She would suit a quiet home with or without other dogs & older children. She likes to be fed separately we think harking back to the days of when she was starving. She walks nicely on the lead & travels well in the car. Her blood test results were negative which means she is in good health.
