Please, if anyone can donate even just £5 to help pay for this podenco puppy to have a heart op and give him a chance of living a full life. The appeal hasn’t even reached a quarter of the amount needed. Please help and share too.
Ritchie’s story from Bev Grubba, who is making the appeal.
Ritchie is a 7 month abandoned pup and has a severe heart condition and needs surgery to try and save his life, within 4 months!
He has an extra vein in his aorta which means all fluids are mixing, and he doesn’t have enough oxygen to work the heart, so this vein needs to be removed, intricate,complicated surgery The vet won’t do this till Funds are in.
I didn’t know how else to get help and I couldn’t stand by and not try and help, hence this fundraiser.

Ritchie is having his heart op on Wednesday 10th October as a matter of urgency. Keep fingers crossed for him and thank you to everyone who donated. Will post an update when I receive one.
I’m sorry to tell you that despite the vets’ best efforts, Ritchie did not survive the operation. Thank you to everyone who donated…at least he had a 50% chance either way, which is more than not trying atall. Thank you.
