When a podenco is adopted from a rescue, it makes room for a podenco from a perrera. And here’s an example, a young podenco with a back injury rescued from Valencia perrera and on his way to Podenco Friends. Bev farmer writes.

‘He will be with us soon …. Campeon his hunter/owner has handed him to the perrera in Valencia signed the papers for permission to sacrifice. 3 years DOB 10/10/12 old has an injury to his back. Thanks to Angie Robinson and her team Asociacion Valencia Perrera Dogs who work really hard to find places for them. If all goes well he could be with us by today (Friday) as he needs that back injury to be seen by a vet’.
