How low can people stoop?! SARA Protectora on Lanzarote have dozens of dogs and cats, including lots of podencos all waiting for forever homes on mainland Europe. This link details the number of dogs and cats they have helped. As they say, bear in mind this is just one association, there are others on the Island including several perreras. Here’s one of their podencos, Muneca. And Amor, now 4 years old and been at the shelter since he was a puppy. Is he destined to spend the rest of his life there, never knowing family life and what it is like to live in a home?

no matter what site you look on they are all bursting at the walls it is a night mare sooooooooo many poor souls waiting for their for evers some dont even make it to a forever and some make it and are returned even after years of been in a home its heart breaking for them just wish i could win some money to start my own rescue or even just for a bigger place to rescue more feel so helpless there is some beutiful podencos on this site havnt been right through the site yet will look again when get time
