El Paraiso is a perrera in Murcia, Spain. A volunteer went there today to try and rescue a pregnant podenca. Remember, Easter weekend looms and the staff in the perreras are busy mass killing dogs, to the staff can go on holiday! This is what Jacqui has written about her visit.
Jacqui was trying to save the pregnant podencos today – HOW THE HELL IS THIS LEGAL?
I have had the worst day of my life…again I am sitting here crying my heart out…I cannot face posting or answering questions, I just want to curl up in a ball…I went to el paraiso today…trying to save some pregnant podencos…they were killing and burning all the sick and left over dogs….I cannot get the screaming and the smell out of my ears and nose…I just can´t face this…I am broken…I want to tell everyone…I want to scream at all the bastards that keep telling me I do not have the correct systems in place to re home these dogs…I want to drag them by their hair and let them witness what I did today…I am completely in a mess here…all the dogs I knew , all their faces are gone…and I couldn´t save them…’
Please tell everyone you know what goes on in Spain, dissuade them from going on holiday there, buying Spanish goods…

im crying as i read this im breaking down as i print this bastards murduring bastards i hate all the bastards responsible for this them poor babies so the podemcos was killed aswell no no yuo fuckers what do you mean by screams what do they do for frig sake
These murderers are not human! Why are they even working in pounds when they obviously hate dogs to cause this much pain and suffering. We should be supporting people like Jacqui who are trying to save lives. Jacqui, when you are able, please e-mail me the story in your owns words – I’ll circulate it in the UK and try to at least get this atrocity in the public eye. Too late to save these precious souls, but we can make sure their deaths weren’t in vain.
I’m crying too with horror and rage and utter hatred for these murderers. Sick monsters, I hope they rot in hell.
