This is Inca, and Bev Farmer tells his story.
‘We were alerted that a Podenco was in a perrera so arranged to go collect him. On arrival one of the staff just got him out of the kennel and told us to go now and return in a couple of hours and complete the paper work. We bundled him into the car and drove off with no idea what was going on. On returning they told us a gypsy had reserved him the day before and was on his way to take him, so if we had been 15 minutes later, it could have been a very different story for Inca.
Inca is approx. 10 months old, super friendly, just wants to hug all the time, very responsive and good with other dogs. He has had all his vaccinations and passport, and we are waiting for the results from his blood tests. He will be castrated in the next week.
If you can give this handsome young Podenco his forever home, please contact – podencofriends@hotmail.co.uk
I can’t believe that we could have missed him, luck was on his side. The staff explained that the perrera is council run and they have to give the dogs to anyone with no questions. So now they know we can help with the Podenco,s they will contact us.
And this poor little soul is still in Hellin perrera, Albacete – only 2 years old, due to die on 28th September! contact linaortu@gmail.com
