Huge thanks to Rick and Leslie who helped us get Scooby Doo back to the uk!!!
Scooby was about 3 or 4 weeks old when we found him in the gutter in Guime ,Lanzarote and without the help of Rick and Leslie i dont know what would have ever happened to him.
Many Thanks to every one who helped us rescue this abandoned Podenco and get him to the uk where he will share living quarters with Lala and Pintada ,another 2 wanderfull Podenco recues who without Rick and Leslie’s efforts would not have made it here.

lovely to read of another happy ending for an abandoned podenco, they are such fantastic dogs. SARA do a marvellous job and it is great news that after 1 january 2012, the podencos for the uk won’t have to wait so long for their uk passports.
i remember pintada, i had her on galgo news, defore podenco post was launched.
be great if you could send me their rehoming stories – to encourage others to adopt a podenco.
mine is a miniature podenca andaluz with a character the size of a labrador!
