El Refugio de Brown in Badajoz, Extramadura – desperately needing help – donations, fosters, adoptions
From Lidia Martinez in Badajoz, Extramadura, a terrible place for hinting dogs.
‘I introduce myself I am Lidia Martinez and I am a teamer and collaborator of El Refugio de Brown in Zafra Badajoz, her situation is very hard, there are only two people managing more than 100 animals, at a cost monthly of € 2,000 or more in veterinary and residency expenses, already they do not have their own premises, as the city council evicted them from its facilities and also many animals from the kennels from Extremadura and Andalucia.
Please we ask you to value the possibility of being part of these groups since all help is fundamental and donations are desperately needed.
I leave you the link to their website so you can know them a little more and the links of their two groups.

Abandoned tripod Podenca now safe with Galgos del Sol
The bastard hunters have no feelings – to abandon a podenca with part of a leg missing. This is the type of injury which can occur when the dog is trapped in an illegal snare.
Watch this Podenca go from desperate when rescued to wagging her tail with hope… even when shes missing half of her leg. She’s been named Horchita. Sadly she is nowhere near fit enough yet to be operated on.
During my years on rescues with L’Europe des Levriers we brought many tripods out of Spain to France for rehoming. We found that the ones with a high amputation coped much better than a couple who were left with a longer stump, as they often tried putting that leg down.

Galgos 112 – a message for Galgueros and Spanish Politicians
A message for Galgueros and Politicians from Galgos 112 after betraying the Spanish hunting dogs that they are not protected by the new law.Look into their eyes, especially you inept politicians who have left them lying around and abandoned like cigarette butts.
To the Galgueros we tell them not to even approach them, to ask these soulless sub-human beings to look into the eyes of the dogs that they mistreat so much and would cause yet more pain to the poor dogs by their abandonment.
