Kaori is a beautiful, 6 year old big-eyed podenca dog we rescued from an olive grove in the middle of winter, terrified as she tried to protect the puppies she’d just given birth to from the cold. She probably belonged to a hunter who would use her for breeding for years, and when she was no longer useful to him, he abandoned her regardless of her condition.
