Podencos for adoption
There are dozens of podencos spending months and longer in refuges, shelters and foster homes. Please remember them if you would like to offer one a forever home. Here’s a list of associations to contact, by country, if you can help.
And for every podenco homed from a refuge, the association can rescue one from a perrera. It’s heartbreaking how many podencos are dumped in perreras by the hunters – especially on CESE which means ‘fast track to killing’! And if a perrera is full, podencos are the first dogs to be killed to make room for incomers!

Denmark – raping dogs till they die!!!
I thought Denmark was a civilised Western society. They have their own brand of sick sadistic animal torturers. Please sign and share this petition to help the animals.

Carina, a podenca with Podenco Friends, Murcia – adopt Carina
When I was with Bev and Warren of Podenco Friends last September 2013, although I loved all the podencos, Carina won a special place in my heart. I really wanted to bring her home to me forever, but with 4 galgos and a very bossy little podenca, I really couldn’t afford to take on another dog – vet fees, feed, tick treatment …you know how it goes, especially on small pensions.
so let me introduce you to the absolutely adorable Carina, a beautiful video. There must be someone who has a place in their home and heart for this gorgeous podenca. Contact Bev if you can help Carina.

Hunting with galgos and podencos in Spain – 2014/15 season due to start
Podencos suffer as much abuse, if not more, than the galgos and they still don’t get the publicity due to them. The next hunting season is due to start. Galgueros still claim they care for their dogs. They must have their heads stuck up their a….! This video shows the truth.
