  • Podenco pups abandoned at 2 months old – Galgos Rescue Almeria caring for them

    GRA puppy 1a 400
    From Sandy Galgoslover.

‘New in our care these 3 gorgeous podenco puppies. They were found in a box at the hospital in Huercal Overa, and APA Nueva Vida brought them to the vet for a check up and giving the first care.

2 girls and a boy (Caramella, Santina & Gino) approximately 2 months old. Jean Minett was so kind to pick them up at the clinic and she also offered to foster them for a while.

Many thanks APA to save them, Jean to foster them and Helping Animals Almanzora to support one of the 3 musketeers.

All help / support for the other 2 rascals is welcome.

  • Podenco Tatoo – left for dead – lucky to be alive

    Tatoo 400 6 2021
A tragic story…let’s get Tatoo a forever family for a happy ending.

‘TATOO was run over and left lying in the gutter without noticing if he was alive or dead. It was winter, cold days and nonstop rain. Two days later, it occurred to them to stop by and see what had been the dog and there he was… and alive!! The truth is that he was deader than alive, unconscious, with an open fracture of the front leg with his bone out , famished… It’s been many tough months in a house but he’s ready to find him a family. He’s a good, calm and happy dog. We don’t know if he will regain foot functionality, but that affects him very little for his running around!

  • Podenco Enzo in Seville – hoping for a forever home

    Asociacion Amores Incondicionales

    ‘Meet ENZO video

Our precious little podenquito is still waiting for home. His siblings have gone and he’s all alone. He’s full of love, gentle, noble.

Enzo is only 2 years old. Who can resist those eyes?..; He has a look that falls in love. We rescued him with a lot of fear but look how far he has advanced! He already trusts us! He is very affectionate and curious. He gets along great with other dogs and is very playful.

He would be ideal for a family that already has sociable and balanced dogs to help him in adaptation.

He walks very well on a leash. He is healthy, vaccinated and neutered.
Ready to go to a wonderful home with a family as special as he is.

He is in SEVILLA but for adoption he can travel
