    Mercedes puppy 250 1 3 2013
Urgent appeal from Mercedes in Seville.

‘Hello. I need urgent help! I found this puppy podenco at the door of my work and it was terrified. I work in a place where there is a very dangerous road to the side, and I knew that leaving it there, it was only a matter of time before it would be injured. So, just in case the same day, I tied it next to my car. The poor dog was that be there for eight hours until I got out of work and took it home.

The way the animals are crammed in the back of a private estate, continuously chained without any room to move. The precarious facilities do not meet the necessary hygiene and dogs have “not even enough food or water,” said a spokesman for the foundation. “Neighbors often call these situations to denounce”.

Little Pod faith 1 250 1 2013Merlin & Faith came from Valencia Perrera, where Anke and her team are now helping. This was before they became involved and it was a nighmare trying to get the podencos out. Here’s their story from a volunteer.

It seems to be a reccurring theme for Little Pod Association, this is the second family rescued by them recently and both have since had large litters of puppies. Yet again more Podencos in a Perrera, the clock ticking down before they would be euthanaized.
