This is Reuben. He turned up in the kennel yard late one night, very thin but also very happy to have found me.  He had some issues with smaller dogs initially but he learned quickly to get on with them. (He was definitely a working hunter before)

Reuben loves people! His tail wags and he smiles.

After I was rushed to hospital, other rescues stepped in to take responsibility for the vast majority of my rescue dogs.  But Reuben has been in a vet clinic since March, he’s still registered as an ADR dog and the bill now stands at just over 600€.  I only just found out  that he’s still an ADR dog after giving away my last donation last week to another rescuer because I didn’t need it.

Reuben is available for adoption.  He’s 6 years old and weighs around 18kg, he can’t be with cats and maybe not small dogs but he gets on well with other dogs his size (Willow’s pups used to sleep in his bed) and he’s great with children too.
