We had desperately hoped someone would come forward to adopt or even foster our gorgeous fuzzy girl Lyra, but no.

Although she seems to be settling well, learning to trust and generally gaining a little more confidence, Lyra seems to really be failing to thrive in kennels.

Sometimes they just need that little extra TLC in a quiet, loving environment to help them put on weight and encourage them to come out of their shells more.

We’re always worried when they are like this and would have loved for her to get an offer.
