Tierra Blanca shelter on Tenerife, Canary Islands is a place of refuge for the abandoned and maltreated hounds on the Island. It’s away from the apartment blocks and hotels lining the beaches, a place the tourist doesn’t visit. The only hope for forever homes for some of the dogs, mainly podencos, is on mainland Europe.
