Protectora de animales ARUME are appealing for a forever home for Podenco Truan – the ‘Eternal Forgotten’.

‘Truan is a wonderful dog, small size, very young, friendly, loving, sociable, good and grateful. But he was born Podenco, and only for that reason his chances of finding a home are reduced and they make him INVISIBLE.

There is the belief that “hunting” dogs do not “use” to live at home and that they do not adapt, nor are they happy if it is not hunting. And nothing is further from reality (we’re not talking about locking them in a flat but giving them a full life, with safe and quality exits. Any dog can be completely happy living in either a flat or a house with a farm or garden provided the time is given..)

There are more active dogs that enjoy going out to the mountain for a run, others are more of a blanket and couch. Well, the little ones gather all those qualities together!!! Perfect dogs, SUVs, that adapt to any family and enjoy both being out in the countryside and a warm nap in bed.

TRUAN is a lovely dog, to know him is to love him. He’s been locked up in a kennel for more than a year. Each week his cell mate gets adopted. And he stands alone, once again he sees how the rest get out and they slowly leave, but in him no one notices. Days go by, which add up to nights, and poor Truan is still locked in a cage being cold, sleeping on cement and eating raw chicken shells. He deserves to start LIVING.
