‘New arrival ..Carmela. Earlier this week 3 Podencos arrived at the Finca. Working together with Michael Owens of SHUG they came from another rescue.

Carmela is 10 years old … we have her original passport, a senior Podenco abandoned after many years of loyal service and giving birth to many puppies.

You could not wish to meet a more gracious and sweet natured dog. Loving, gentle, kind are just a few words that describe her. She has recently gone through a major surgery and has some health issues we need to address but she is very bright and happy and greets you with a waggy tail.

For now she is comfortable and settled, she is booked in to see our vet. Will update once we have more information.’
