‘Thea is still in search of her ultimate family! How pretty she is! She is 7.5kg and 3 years old.
Thea was adopted a few months ago in Bilbao by a fantastic family who have another puppy and rabbits. When Thea arrived at her new home, she had already been cat tested and was compatible, and with the puppy in the house instantly connected. Inseparable.
She ignored the rabbits, and for months the coexistence was great. Her family couldn’t be happier with her.
But suddenly, and without anyone understanding why, Thea attacked one of the rabbits and had to rush it to the vet. Luckily he was saved and was able to come home.
But Thea had changed and was only interested in hunting one of the rabbits.
The family tried everything, they worked with ethologists who gave them guidelines, but everything was still the same, so at the end they contacted us for help and we have recommended that Thea get out of there, for the sake of the rabbits.
Luckily we have a foster family in Bilbao years ago, who take care of all the puppies as their own dogs, and since November 23th Thea is with them, she has adapted greatly and the family who cares for her is doing a great job with her.
Thea is super cute and gets along great with all the dogs she meets. The adoptive family says her character is that of a big dog that will fill your life with love and great moments.
We won’t give her to a family with rabbits or even cats as she has changed and we don’t want to put her through more changes. We want her next family to be the ultimate.
It’s a must for your next family to have another dog or dog of similar size more or less, young and playful.
Thea is in Bilbao but can travel to some provinces, although we’d love for her to stay close.
