Yesterday was Bella’s (Bell bell Buttons) gotcha day. 9 years ago we were standing in a railway station in Murcia waiting for her to arrive; yes she travelled down on a train… She was the very first podenco we rescued with the intention of finding her a home. That went out the window and yep, failed foster. She is real joy, a truly happy dog, really tiny but has the biggest heart and our pocket rocket… Found on the roadside in Cadiz, a bag of bones, she was curled up and they thought at first she was dead she was so thin. Thankfully someone was kind enough to stop and pick her up but many passed her by… So glad they did. Why she was left we will never know but so happy she found us.
