The Podenca Andaluz comes in 3 sizes, small, medium and large and also smooth or rough haired. The small ones are like my little pod Bebe, 6.5 kg but with the biggest personality – she bosses all the galgos around. She has very cute ways, loves satsumas (got to keep the orange coat!, is small enough for lap cuddles. I can’t imagine life without her…although I never used to like little dogs! Here is a small podenco who has been waiting far too long for his forever home.

This is Leo, who came into the PEPA animal charity in October 2015! He is only 7 kilos and is now 6 years old. He is very nervous outside his environment so he needs to go to someone who can bring him on the rest of the way.
