Podencos abound in Malaga province and now the hunters are getting rid. There are 16 in Malaga perrera this week, all young ones.
And I am told some of the ‘rescuers’ have created problems in the Valencia perrera – some of the podencos we donated to rescue last year are still in kennels till permission is given for them to be adopted.

beryl can you please explain more about this when you say still in kenneling you do mean residence kenneling not stillin the kill station that cant be possible and whats the prob re the volunteers some of them causing probs what do you mean why cant the permission been given for them to be addopted well thesepoorsouls havnt got achance it will take a miricle cause all the rescues full and the ones in this holing kennel it will cost the rescuer more and more money less for the rescuer to rescue more bless this baies if any donations neede to get them aout i can help a little b—— breeders and hunters
Yes, Jen, still in residence kennels…sometimes some of the groups don’t work together – our contacts did all they could and helped save the podencos but a stop has been put on adoption – I’m trying to find out more..
ok let me know when you can beryl here we go again i dont hold much hope for these poor souls all rescues full ffs why does this keep happening they are going to need hundreds to get them out into residence and vets bills i know i said i can put a little donation through but i am dreaming ant i i know of the cost for just one not enough people homing and the b—– breeding so many breeding needs knocking on the head this is not right the poor dogs suffering all the time
i bet this is going to be a repeat of the 2012 christmas new year week still see thier faces it haunts me and i think of last year easter when jaqui went for pregnant podencas she had everything in place for them girls and they had killed them just befor she got there oh it breaks my heart i feel as though i have let them down feeling the pain and guilt for them poor souls all the time when the wicked shits responsible go on day after day laughing and joking getting on with their life ok for them in it aww bless all the poor babies past present and future born to die

Don’t know, so many appeals coming in I can’t post them all…heartbreaking but of course it is the end of the hunting season drawing near – bloody hunters!
