We rarely get away together on holiday – always one of us staying at home to dog/cat/horse sit! We bought a caravan 2 years ago to MAKE ourselves take the occasional break – it’s yet to be used as anything other than a spare bedroom! The following information popped into my Inbox and it looks just the thing to put in our diary for next year.
Frank writes. ‘I am organising on behalf of Greyhound Friends a weeks holiday next year for Greyhound/Galgo/Lurcher/Podenco owners who have a caravan. 15th – 21st May.
The site is at Stoke Bruerne a very charming village on the Grand Union Canal.
All money raised will go to Greyhound Friends who in turn support rescues, especially those experiencing difficulties.
