Spain should also ban greyhound racing. It is a cruel sport for the dogs.
You are quite right, hunting and racing with galgos should be banned. The racing fraternity train their dogs by running them alongside moving cars and motorbikes; if a dog goes down, it gets dragged along! I joined a rescue which brought out Paca, a poor galga who survived such an experience; it took many months to get her wounds healed and her limbs working – swimming was used as physiotherapy. She is now living happily in comfort in Paris.
Thanks for caring.
All animals must treated just as they need : good food, home and
care. Minister in Spain must work towards these standards. They are normal standards to animals.
