Over many years Bev Farmer of Podenco Friends has en able to catch stunning photos of her rescued podencos. It is an amazing gift.
“Rescuing Podencos I discovered a love for photography.. plus living so remotely in the campo was such a great background to take photos. I took this photograph from around 20 metres away. Chaz at the time was only 6 months old and stood so still, looking out across the valley, As I was looking through the camera lens, silently I thought, please don’t move.
For just a few seconds, everything was still… and I captured that special moment.
To see them free. Perhaps remembering where they have been. Perhaps wondering what lies beyond the horizon. Or perhaps simply enjoying the freedom to stand still, breathe, and take it all in.
