Planning a holiday? Volunteer at a dog shelter in Spain
Spring will soon be upon us, and I’m sure your thoughts are turning to planning holidays. Why not plan a week or two helping out at a shelter in Spain? The shelters rely on volunteers to help them with the daily chores of looking after dozens of dogs – in the case of Scooby Medina, hundreds of dogs and in the case of Pepis Dog Refuge, Jane and Alan daily look after nearly 80 dogs!

My heart is breaking…every day dozens of podencos on death row in perreras…two brothers here, only 5 months old, in Almeria perrera!! “Murtagh” y “Eragon”

And a pretty little bitch, no good for hunting, afraid of gunshot, so her owner took her to the vet to be pts – foster home needed and then adoption. In Toledo. Sexually abusing dogs – don’t let this man have a dog

Frans Kamps. Don’t give dogs to this man. He is again looking for female dodgs pretending he wants to adopt to give a good home. However, he asbuses the dogs sexually and then kills them. He has already been in court but the punishment did not fit the crime. He is now out there again looking for dogs. Take care and don’t forget his face.

Mairena Perrera – making the news
There are podencos in Mairena perrera. If you haven’t been following the story on Galgo News and facebook, here are some links. I has asked for verification of the claim that all but 20 of the dogs are out, including the sick and injured which are shown in the video on Christmas Day.
