Protectora Scooby to the rescue again – 48 galgos and podencos
In Scooby Medina!48 lives more safe! Last weekend we went to pick them up to Andalucía.
Some of them have been given by their owners and others have been taken from the perreras.
Some are so scared that they react when you approach them, others are sick and there are all ages, from puppies to grandpas.
Where their owners, hunters, see them as a useless thing and a hindrance that the only thing that supposes them is an unnecessary financial expense, we see wonderful beings that the only thing they deserve is a dignified life, in a comfortable home and surrounded by love.
Now they all have to pass a veterinary check and when they are ready we will present them to you, because we have to find responsible families for them.

Update on Podencos Camilo and Eloy
From Polly Mathewson.‘Dear Friends of our beautiful timid podenco brothers CAMILO & ELOY, an update that’s a bit mixed – sad and happy and practical… Firstly the sad in that unfortunately we have unexpected health news for our boys as we have discovered they both have the degenerative spinal condition spondylosis deformans, and Eloy has it very badly. But we are all going to help them so they will be as well as they can be! The happy news is that they have had their first official class with behaviourist-trainer Pilar. What posh pods they are with a personal trainer! And so to the practical, and this is a very heartfelt request because to cover their tests, x-rays and sedation together with new monthly medication and supplements they are now going to need, and of course their kenneling, their costs are rising to over £500/560 euros per month. That’s a lot! But together we can do it.

Podenca Espe looking for a forever home
From Noa Palacious.This cutie is called Esperanza, but we call her “Espe”, we called her like that because she was rescued from a fire due to diogenes and noah syndrome. She is a adorable, good, noble, affectionate, sociable little four-year-old podencita … despite everything she has suffered.
She weighs between 12-14 kilos. She had a very hard life between dirt and misery, a little brother died in the fire and those who survived are already adopted. Only her missing, Espe!. It is time that life smiled at you for being good, loving, noble, for being so special! and for all the suffering behind you.

Dumped alive in a bin – like trash – Protectora Scooby to the rescue again
This poor little soul looks like a podenco From Protectora Scooby.
‘This is outrageous!
She was clubbed and thrown into a rubbish bin as if she were waste. She is about two years old, is full of injuries, very thin and very weak.
We will inform you of her evolution because if all goes well (we trust that it will be) she will soon need a new home.
