For those who have recently joined us this is Pepe… a podenco born in the countryside with his 8 siblings, and their mother, for months trying to survive.. It left him with a deep rooted distrust and fear of humans. Once rescued he was completely shut down and if approached in his kennel would pee and poop himself and out of self preservation he was a fear biter.  I’ve been working with him for 7 months now, and he is a very different dog..

Trust replaced fear, one day at a time.
