From PAWS PATAS Animal Shelter
Dear friends & supporters
Some of you may be aware of a developing situation at another animal shelter within our region.
Paws-Patas have been asked by both the Ayuntamiento de Antas and a District Judge to urgently take in over 100 animals into our care.
We are therefore, in conjunction with the authorities and our trusted partners, undertaking an emergency operation to co-ordinate the safe transition of these animals into our care.
This is a difficult and challenging situation for all concerned and our absolute priority, as always, is for the welfare of the animals.
We hope that you understand, that due to an ongoing legal process, we are unable to comment any further, but you have our absolute assurance that our team of professionals and volunteers are working tirelessly to ensure as safe a transfer as possible.
