From Gran Canaria. Heartbreaking.

‘I come from the summit and found an abandoned dog. At first she was very suspicious but we put her to eat and slowly it came closer. There has been no way to catch it. We left her food and water but I don’t think he’ll last long

Updated – the person who passed me the notice tried to rescue her with volunteers from a protector, and yet more volunteers.

They put water and food out but impossible to catch it…. the podencos are very scared.

We were organizing to get cheat cage and as she went up today to bring him food and just told me to stop rescue because her owner showed up. He told me because it was sick!
I guess yes owner will be a hunter because he told me the area was full.
