‘Pacma Canarias is carrying out a project to spread the situation of dogs and ferrets intended for hunting in the Canary Islands. We know that there are many cases of ill-treatment and we want to echo this internationally.
If you know a case of mistreatment of dogs, ferrets or any other animal intended for hunting, which can be publicly disseminated, which is reported and that has not been fixed, please pass the most significant photos along with a brief explanatory text to email yolandamoralespacma@gmail.com.
The explanatory text must contain the following information:
– Island and municipality where the facts happen.
– estimated quantity of animals affected.
– description of places where dogs are kept.
– description of the state of dogs.
– number of complaints filed.
– actions taken by Seprona, police or public administration (if so).
The above photo is of some of the 90 podencos in Mogan which the volunteers are STILL trying to get released and which the Municipal council refuse to accept are kept in appalling conditions!
