Alyn Smith MEP. ‘As you may know, one of my main concerns as a Member of the European Parliament is the welfare of animals and, as the second largest market in the world, the EU has significant global influence in this area. This is why I am writing to you to bring to your attention a survey launched by the European Commission. This survey will be used, in part, to determine what sort of action should be taken on the welfare of cats and dogs in commercial settings.
This is an excellent opportunity to have your views not just heard, but acted upon at a European level. The EU is actively seeking your opinion, so don’t miss this opportunity to make your voice heard – the survey is only open until 20th September!
